Data, testing, and analytics are essential for the longterm success of your marketing and overall sales initiatives. I’ll investigate your data to find insights to guide marketing decisions (including customer segmentation strategies) and test sends to see what works best with your customer base. What’s in my experience toolbox:

What’s the value of a generalist-turned-specialist consultant? They’ve seen a lot, done a lot, and can incorporate broad insights into every consideration while weighing the impact of each recommendation. That’s me! 

I started my career in the thick of Hollywood as an assistant at global talent agency, WME. From there, I worked as a coordinator for MUSE Global, a celebrity non-profit in the education and environmental sect. Next, global sales and partnerships at wellness pioneer, YogaWorks, then into the San Francisco tech world where I led customer communications and market research for Lovely, an innovation lab in the Rentpath family. 

What’s the throughline so far? I learned the ropes inside savvy, innovative businesses that strove for agility and were always customer first. I knew this type of company was most interesting to me, and what I wanted to move toward in my career. My interests, personal and professional, found confluence in the world of DTC and ecomm, where business is inherently rebellious, customer-first, impact-driven, and innovative. 

In 2016, I joined ecommerce company and wellness industry darling, Sakara Life, to lead their West Coast expansion. In 18 months, I scaled operations and drove growth that took the business from $60k in monthly revenue up to nearly $1M. During that time I became the regional brand leader, editorial contributor, and retail innovation strategist for the shelf-stable product line.  

Wanting to share my knowledge, work with more brands, and broaden my impact, I left to start my consulting business which allowed me to do exactly that. When I started in 2018, my consulting services focused on content and editorial strategy for wellness and natural product DTC ecomm brands. As my business grew, I expanded into full-service digital marketing and branding, worked with leading agencies on global brand initiatives, created new and more scalable revenue streams with alternative offerings, contributed to a national franchise expansion, helped my clients navigate COVID-19 pivots and growth, and finessed what has become my sweet spot: email and text message marketing that is data-powered AND driven by brand storytelling for a loyalty-building, sales-closing, creative approach to the channels. 

Most recently, I led long-form content strategy as Editorial Manager at  Drip, an ecommerce focused email and text message service provider. There I was able to take all of my insights from working with ecommerce brands and build out the educational resources and long-form content library that teaches ecommerce businesses how to run successful email and text message marketing campaigns.  

Today, email and text message marketing is my focus because it gives ecomm business a sovereign channel to connect with customers and is a foundational element of a healthy revenue structure.
